Features
Easy Visa Funding
Existing Visa cards can be
funded through the Premium Account (Foreign Currency), via branches or the Bankak application.
Cheque-Free Account
Premium Account (Foreign Currency) does not contain any type of cheque books.
No Cheque Deposits
No cheque deposits from ECC or Seraj are accepted.
Foreign Currency Services
Accountholders can access foreign currency services through our Bankak app.
Account Statements
Statements are system-generated and issued as per the customer’s preference.
Standing Instructions
Customers may issue standing instructions for recurring payments such as utility bills, school fees, etc..
Deposits & Withdrawals
Deposits
The Premium Account (Foreign Currency) accepts the following sources of funds only:
- Cash deposits
- Transfers from abroad
- Transfers from Special Accounts (NGOs, embassies, local contractors) such as salary transfers
- Transfers from other Premium (Foreign) Accounts
- Transfers from Staff FCY Accounts
Withdrawals
- Customers may withdraw funds from any nearby branch during official working hours, subject to Bank of Khartoum policy.
- Withdrawals are permitted only if the account is classified as having “active” sources of funds.

Transfers through Bankak (same currency only)
- Premium FCY → Premium FCY
- Premium FCY → Staff FCY
- Staff FCY → Premium FCY
- Premium FCY → Visa Account
- Staff FCY → Visa Account
Permitted Transfers
- Sudanese customer to another Sudanese customer
- Non-Sudanese customer to another non-Sudanese customer
Restricted Transfers
- Sudanese customer to non-Sudanese customer
- Non-Sudanese customer to Sudanese customer

- Account holder’s name
- Occupation
- Authorized signatures
- Contact number and address
- Account type
- Customer identification documents
- Any additional information required by the regulations of the Central Bank of Sudan
