In an elegant ceremony held at the Corinthia Hotel, as part of the Second Global Scientific Conference of the Sudanese Heart Association hosted in Khartoum, the Sudanese Heart Association honoured the Bank of Khartoum in recognition of its positive contributions to supporting and ensuring the success of the association’s activities during 2017.

These contributions included sponsoring heart surgeries for children, enabling the association's participation in regional and international medical conferences, and supporting the success of the joint conference with the African Heart Association and the Interventional Cardiology Society. The bank also aided the association's participation in the World Heart Federation Summit.
