As part of its Mosquito Net Distribution Project, the Bank of Khartoum has launched an initiative to combat the negative effects of mosquito proliferation and the diseases it spreads. The bank, through its branches in the North Kordofan region, organized a mosquito net distribution campaign at the Khalawi Al-Sharif Al-Naji.
The event was attended by Mr. Mohamed Bakhit, Director of North Kordofan Branches, Mr. Sheikh Idris Abdel Qader, Director of the El-Obeid Branch, and prominent figures from the community. They praised the campaign for its vital role in promoting public health and commended the Bank of Khartoum for its sense of responsibility toward society.
In addition to the distribution, the bank donated a water reservoir to the Khalawi as a tangible contribution. The Khalawi serves a large number of students and Quran memorization scholars, highlighting the bank's noble gesture toward educational institutions. This initiative is part of the Bank of Khartoum's ongoing corporate social responsibility programs in Sudan.
